Martyred Leader Laid to Rest at Imam Reza Shrine; Eternal Rest at Path of Humility

The pure body of the martyred leader of the Revolution, along with his martyred family members, was laid to rest in the Dar al-Zikr Portico, near the hallowed shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH), following the funeral procession and funeral prayers.

Hawzah News Agency- A place at the lower end of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH), adjacent to the sacred burial chamber—the very path the martyred leader humbly walked for years as he approached the sanctuary of the Imam of Compassion—has now become the eternal resting place for the pure bodies of the martyred leader of the Revolution and his martyred family.

The Dar al-Zikr Portico of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza is the burial site of the martyred leader of the Revolution and his martyred family. It is a portico filled with meaning; for those familiar with the spiritual journey of pilgrimage, it is not merely a location but a clear sign of reverence before the sacred presence of the Benevolent Imam (PBUH).

This portico is situated at the lower end of the Imam's shrine—the very route to which the martyred leader of the Revolution steadfastly adhered during his visits to the Razavi Shrine, traversing it with spiritual delicacy and an attitude brimming with humility.

His pilgrimage route was, in itself, an independent narrative of modesty—a narrative that now acquires a redoubled significance upon hearing the name of his burial site.

He would usually enter through the Dar al-Zuhd corridor, but what transformed this visitation into an enduring model of reverent pilgrimage was his spiritual pause at the lower end of the Imam's shrine. For him, pilgrimage was not merely about reaching the lattice-enclosed tomb; it possessed a protocol to which he adhered with his very soul.

First and foremost, he would gaze upon the sacred chamber from the lower end of the holy shrine, as if he wished to first stand in a position of propriety and then, with the permission of the heart, step into the sanctuary of light. Afterward, passing through the Dar al-Zikr Portico, he would seek permission to enter and then proceed into the Dar al-Suroor Portico, where he would make a complete stop—a pause born of profound presence.

At that very moment, he would utter the full prayer for permission to enter. For his companions and the shrine's custodians, this was not merely a ritual act; it was a clear lesson in the relationship between authority and servitude.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah, before entering the sacred chamber, would position himself in a place that is a manifest symbol of reverence, humility, and spiritual insight in pilgrimage. And now, destiny has transformed that very familiar path into his eternal resting place.

Perhaps from this point forward, every pilgrim who passes through this corridor will recall, more vividly than ever, the meaning of humility at the threshold of guardianship. That one can, at the pinnacle of status, still begin the path of pilgrimage from the lower end of the Imam's shrine—and ultimately, along that very same path, find eternal rest in the shade of the benevolence of Imam Reza (PBUH).
